As Dinesh lay unconscious with a severe head injury, a crowd of onlookers gathered around him. 31-year-old Rajiv happened to be passing by and stopped to check the commotion. As soon as Rajiv realised what had happened his training at SaveLIFE Foundation kicked in and he swung into action to save Dinesh’s life. Rajiv controlled Dinesh’s bleeding, immobilized his neck to stop any further damage, and immediately rushed him to the nearest hospital.

After few months of recovery, Dinesh Kumar is back at home and with his family. Dinesh not only feels indebted to Rajeev for rescuing him but has himself also vowed to never look away when he sees an injured victim on the road.

In January 2014, Dinesh and his family have joined SaveLIFE Foundation’s campaign after they learnt that Rajeev had been trained by SaveLIFE Foundation.
