Who we are


SaveLIFE Foundation (SLF) is an independent, non-profit non-governmental organization committed to improving road safety and emergency medical care across India.


We combine innovative on-ground interventions with advocacy for stronger national level policies to create a sustainable impact on the ground.

The work we do




Policy Advocacy


We focus on generating, collecting and compiling authentic, verifiable data and information on Road Safety and Emergency Care in India and across the world. Based on original, expert reviewed research and data, we propose policy changes in two broad areas: Accident Prevention and Post-Accident Response.

2 wins on Supreme Court petitions - Secured ban on trucks carrying protruding rods in 2012, and our 2012 petition resulted in a legally binding nationwide policy for protection of Good Samaritans through Supreme Court of India.

Since 2012, our team has met in person several Members of Parliaments, Government officials and political champions across party lines to advocate for stronger road safety laws. This dedication has put Road Safety on the agenda of Indian leaders like never before.
