Mission: Saving lives on roads in India and beyond.
Vision: To save 1 million lives on the roads by 2030.
SaveLIFE Foundation (SLF) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to improving road safety and emergency medical care across India and beyond.
We focus on collecting, compiling and generating authentic, verifiable data and information on Road Safety and Emergency Care in India and across the world. Based on original, expert-reviewed research and data, we propose policy changes in two broad areas: Accident Prevention and Post-Accident Response.
We provide model on-ground training programs and pilot projects across different parts of the country that can be replicated by government organizations.
Following a writ petition filed by SLF in 2012, the Hon’ble Supreme Court gave ‘force of law’ to the guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the Central Government for protection of Good Samaritans from harassment by authorities.
Through another writ petition, SLF secured a ban on trucks carrying protruding rods, which cause over 9,000 road crash deaths annually.
