Secured Protection of Good Samaritans

Following a writ petition filed by SLF in 2012, the Hon’ble Supreme Court gave ‘force of law’ to the guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the Central Government for protection of Good Samaritans from harassment by authorities.

Secured ban against the practice of carrying protruding rods

Through another writ petition SLF, secured a ban on trucks carrying protruding rods, which are a cause of over 9,000 road accident deaths annually.

2,000+ Safe drivers

successfully trained high-risk commercial drivers through a proprietary, custom developed blended learning program.

10,000+ first-responders trained

first-responders on the ground across Delhi, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP and Maharashtra.

67 Members of Parliament

across political parties signed two written appeals to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi giving bipartisan support for road safety.

356,173 supporters

urged Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to introduce the #RoadSafety Bill in the Parliament through #Savethe1M digital campaign launched by us.

2,000 Meetings facilitated

Since 2012, our team has met in person several Members of Parliaments, Government officials and political champions across party lines to advocate for stronger road safety laws. This dedication has put Road Safety on the agenda of Indian leaders like never before.

6,200 letters sent to PM

to request his intervention to ensure that a strong road safety bill is introduced immediately in the Parliament.
